Meet the artist

Azzurro

an Adelaide mural artist and illustrator creating bold, playful public art inspired by local character, coastal life and the odd little details that make a place like Jetty Road in Brighton Beach (SA) memorable. His work mixes bright colour, graphic linework, humour, hidden references and a strong sense of place, turning everyday walls into landmarks worth stopping for. From beachside streets and cafes to large public commissions, his murals are designed to be explored up close, photographed, talked about and enjoyed as part of the day out.

The Tour

6 Murals.
6 Stories.
One Iconic Street.

A short vibrant walk along Jetty Road Brighton with audio stories, photos and a map to guide you.Follow Jetty Road Brighton from the neighbourhood end of the street down towards the sea, discovering the murals, hidden details and stories Azzurro left behind along the way. What began with one community-funded wall grew into years of painting across cafes, restaurants and unexpected corners, each work shaped by the people, memories and character of the street itself. This self-guided audio tour brings those works back to life in the artist’s own voice — part public art walk, part local history, and part love letter to a small Adelaide beachside strip that became an open-air gallery.
